General terms and conditions of sale "Le Val du Pech Chantant"

Booking a room at Val du Pech Chantant implies acceptance of the general conditions set out below. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without notice.

2. Arrival Time
Isabelle and Christophe JEAN (hereinafter referred to as "the owner") welcome their guests (hereinafter referred to as "the client") between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM on the day of their arrival. In case of late arrival, we ask our guests to notify us. In accordance with the regulations in force in certain countries, the client may be asked to complete a police registration form upon arrival. To this end, the client will be asked to present identification to verify whether or not they are required to complete the police registration form.

3. Departure time
Departure is before 11:00.

4. Breakfast and Table d'hôtes
Between 8:30 and 10:00, breakfast is brought to the room or to the private terrace if weather conditions permit.
Dinner is served from 7:30 pm on our terrace or in our house. A packed meal delivered at 7:00 pm is offered to guests wishing to dine in their room.

5. Rates The price includes overnight accommodation and breakfast for 2 people. The rate is the same whether the room is occupied by one or two people. Dinner is available daily upon request when booking your stay and only for guests staying in one of our guest rooms. This service is charged separately and is paid for with the balance of your stay. Our rates do not include cancellation insurance. An invoice is provided to the client at the end of their stay. This invoice can be sent electronically by email to the address provided by the client. Our rates are in euros and include all taxes, including tourist tax. We offer a discount on the nightly rate starting from the second night.

The cosmetics workshop "Labo 715"

By reservation only and limited to a maximum of 4 people, the cosmetics workshopLabo 715 offers a 2-hour workshop where you can make your own cosmetic products. This service is charged per person. A discounted rate is available for couples participating in the workshop.

6. Gift Vouchers Gift vouchers issued by Val du Pech Chantant and Labo 715 are valid for one year and are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. They are not nominative. We cannot be held responsible in case of loss or theft. The stay or activity must be completed before the voucher's expiry date. The customer confirms their reservation by sending the original gift voucher by mail or email to Val du Pech Chantant, 715 route du Pech, 46170 Pern, France, or by email to le.val.du.pech.chantant@gmail.com. Upon receipt of the reservation by Val du Pech Chantant, an email confirmation is sent to the customer; the reservation date becomes final and cannot be changed.

7. Booking and Cancellation Conditions
1) Booking:A reservation made by phone or internet is considered effective after payment of a 30% deposit of the total cost of the stay, with a minimum stay of one night. The client has 7 calendar days to pay this deposit. An email confirmation will be sent to the client to confirm the reservation. The reservation is for a fixed period and does not entitle the client to remain on the premises beyond the date specified in the reservation. The remaining balance must be paid before the arrival date. 2) Cancellation: The deposit paid at the time of booking remains with the owner if the client cancels their stay more than 48 hours and less than 14 calendar days before the arrival date. The full price of the stay is due if the client cancels their stay less than 48 hours before the start of the stay or if the client does not arrive on the scheduled arrival date.If the cancellation occurs more than 14 calendar days before the arrival date, the owner will fully refund the deposit paid at the time of booking. The owner reserves the right to grant a change of dates of stay whenever possible. Cancellation of the booking must be notified in writing (mail or email) to Val du Pech Chantant, 715 route du Pech 46170 PERN or Email: le.val.du.pech.chantant@gmail.com. If the client has not arrived by 7:30 pm on the scheduled arrival date, the owner reserves the right to re-let the room and retain the deposit paid at the time of booking. In the event of a shortened stay by the client, the full amount for the booked nights is due. If the owner must cancel the stay for reasons beyond their control (illness, bad weather, fire, etc.), the client will be notified. as quickly as possible in writing (mail or email) and by telephone. The entire stay will be refunded.

The customer is reminded that he does not have the right of withdrawal provided for in article L221-18 of the Consumer Code in accordance with article L221-28 of the same code.

8. Payment Methods Payment can be made in cash, by check (made payable to Isabelle JEAN and sent to Le Val du Pech Chantant, 715 route du Pech, 46170 PERN), by bank transfer, or by credit card. The customer provides their bank details as a guarantee of the reservation, except in the case of special conditions or rates, by credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, etc., depending on the options offered by the establishment's booking platform). The card number, without spaces between the digits, as well as its expiry date (it is specified that the credit card used must be valid at the time of service) and the security code, must be entered directly in the designated area (secure entry via SSL encryption). The establishment has chosen elloha.com/stripe.com to secure online credit card payments. The validity of the customer's payment card is verified by stripe.com. A payment card may be declined for several reasons: stolen card, blocked card, spending limit reached, incorrect entry, etc. In case of a problem, the customer should contact their bank and the establishment to confirm their reservation and payment method.

9. Tourist tax
The tourist tax of €0.98 per person per night is included in the price of the stay.

10. Animals
Pets are not allowed at Val du Pech Chantant.

11. Use of the premises
By accepting the general terms and conditions of sale, the client agrees to respect the peaceful nature of the premises and to preserve the tranquility of other people residing at Val du Pech Chantant.
The client agrees not to invite any other person onto the Val du Pech Chantant estate without prior authorization from the owners.

12. Opening DaysThe "La Bergerie" room is available for booking from March 1st to All Saints' Day. The "Roulotte" room is available for booking from February 1st to November 30th. The rooms are not wheelchair accessible.

13. Data Protection Act
The information and data collected by the owner from the client are collected solely for the purpose of processing room reservations.
They may be recorded in a client file held by the owner.
In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, the client has the right to access, withdraw, and rectify their personal data by contacting the owner using the contact details provided in paragraph 1.
The client may accept or refuse to receive future marketing offers from the owner of Val du Pech Chantant.

14. Respect for privacy

On each personal data collection form, the customer is informed whether responses are mandatory or optional by the presence of an asterisk. The information processed is intended for the establishment, elloha.com, its entities, its partners, and its service providers (including online payment providers). The customer authorizes elloha.com to share their personal data with third parties, provided that such sharing is compatible with the performance of operations incumbent upon elloha.com under these terms and conditions and in accordance with the Customer Personal Data Protection Charter. In particular, during online payment, the customer's bank details must be transmitted by the payment provider stripe.com to the establishment's bank for the execution of the booking contract. The customer is informed that this data transfer may therefore take place in foreign countries that do not have adequate personal data protection as defined by the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés). However, the customer consents to this transfer, which is necessary for the execution of their reservation. Constellation SAS / Stripe.com, in their professional capacity, have committed to the establishment to take all necessary security measures and ensure the confidentiality of data for these data transfers.

15. Convention on Evidence

Entering the required bank details, along with accepting these terms and conditions and the booking confirmation or request, constitutes an electronic signature which, between the parties, has the same legal value as a handwritten signature. The computerized records stored in the elloha.com computer systems will be kept under reasonable security conditions and considered proof of communications, orders, and payments between the parties. The customer is informed that their IP address is recorded at the time of booking.

16. Dispute
These general terms and conditions of sale are governed exclusively by French law, however, without prejudice to any mandatory protective provisions that may be applicable in the country of residence of the consumers.

Every consumer has the right to free access to a consumer mediator for the amicable resolution of a dispute with a professional. After contacting the professional and failing to receive a satisfactory response, or if no response is received within 60 days, the customer may contact the mediator of the Société Médiation Professionnelle free of charge. In the absence of an amicable settlement, the judicial court of Cahors has jurisdiction.
